Oxford University (UK) is the best school to study Computer Science in 2024, according to THE.
 
The Times Higher Education (THE) ranking organization on October 26 announced the rankings of the best universities training in Computer Science in 2024.
 
Oxford University (UK) leads the rankings for the sixth consecutive year. Stanford University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) swapped second and third place, respectively, compared to last year. The US dominates the group of 10 best schools, with 6 representatives.
 
This year, Imperial College London (UK) and Princeton University (USA) entered the top 10, replacing Technical University of Munich (Germany) and National University of Singapore - the only representative of Asia in the top 10. last year.

THE's 2024 Computer Science rankings include 1,027 universities, up from more than 900 last year. THE ranks schools according to 18 indicators, divided into 5 criteria. Among them, research environment accounts for the largest weight (29%), followed by teaching quality (28%), research quality (27.5%), internationality (7.5%), income and industrial patents (8%).
 
To be eligible for THE ranking, a university must have 500 scientific articles published in the past 5 years and have at least 1% of its teaching staff or 20 personnel teaching Computer Science.

This year, Vietnam has 5 schools in this ranking, including Ton Duc Thang University, Duy Tan University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi National University, and Ho Chi Minh City National University. Among them, Ton Duc Thang University has the best position, in the top 400.
 
Times Higher Education is one of three prestigious university ranking organizations in the world, alongside Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) and Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU).
